Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Oatmeal
Sometimes you just want peanut butter and chocolate for dinner. OK that’s a lot of the time for me! Plus when I work out in the evening and am tired from a long day, I like to fuel my workouts with some complex carbohydrates like that in oatmeal! When I do this, I really have more energy and get a better workout!
Do you want some chocolate and peanut butter for dinner?? Of course you do!
For the 21 Day Fix this is 1 yellow, 1 purple, and 2 tsps!
Ingredients
1/4 cup steel cut oats (I used quick cooking)
3/4 cup water (if you use regular steel cut oats you will need 1 cup of water)
1/2 a banana (mashed)
1 Tbsp raw cacao or cocoa powder
2 tsp natural peanut butter
1 scoop pure stevia leaf extract (not the fake packets!)
Directions:
1. Bring water to a boil.
2. Add steel cut oats and mashed banana.
3. Reduce heat to low and cook 5-7 minutes (longer if using regular steel cut oats).
4. When water is absorbed remove from heat and let sit for 3-5 minutes.
5. Add in cacao/cocoa powder and stevia leaf extract, stir.
6. Top with peanut butter!
Enjoy!! 🙂
