Chocolate Peanut Butter Oats

Oats are incredibly nutritious and have many health benefits. They’re a breakfast staple and can be whipped up in a variety of ways. One of my favorites is chocolate peanut butter oats. (Though I also love the brownie batter oatmeal a lot too!) This sweet and savory breakfast keeps you full for hours. This means you aren’t left unsatisfied and grazing just a few minutes after breakfast.

Oats are a great source of fiber-filled carbs. They also have a variety of nutrients like manganese, iron, folate, and zinc, along with a good amount of protein. Oats contain a soluble fiber called beta-glucan which helps reduce your blood pressure and cholesterol. Strawberry, Blueberry, chocolate, peanut butter, cheesecake, and the list goes on. I love getting plain old-fashioned oatmeal and then adding my own flavors to it. Plus then you aren’t getting all the added sugar that’s in pre-packaged, flavored oats.

I love quick-cook old-fashioned oats because you can literally cook them up in two minutes in the microwave, making them a convenient breakfast option. You can use water or milk for a little extra flavor. I love making mine with almond milk for the added calcium and vitamin D. Mixing in a protein like Greek yogurt is another great way to add extra protein to make sure you stay full and satisfied. One of my favorites is the Okios Triple Zero Greek yogurts- so many flavors, and there are no added sugars or sweeteners. Plus they’re packed with protein.

These chocolate peanut butter oats contain only oats, cacao powder, pure stevia leaf extra, water or almond milk, and peanut butter. I have also made these as overnight oats for a quick grab-and-go breakfast, and I can say they’re just as delicious! Now, let’s dive into this chocolate peanut butter oats recipe!
