It may seem too soon- but it’s here!!  Pumpkin everything is back! I was inspired when I went grocery shopping this weekend and found a whole end of an aisle dedicated to everything pumpkin- including pumpkin chipotle marinade (what is that?!)  So I made a delicious pumpkin pie shakeology smoothie bowl!!  It was simple easy and stisfied my first of many pumpkin cravings!

Ingredients for the Ice Cream Part

3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk
1 cup ice
1 scoop chocolate or vanilla protein powder (I use shakeology)
1/2 a frozen banana (this makes it really thick like soft serve!)

Blend these together and top with 2 Tbsp chopped pecans, 1 tsp pumpkin pie spice, and 1 tsp nutmeg.

Stir it all up and enjoy your pumpkin nice cream!

What is Shakeology?

Shakeology is an all natural meal replacement.  It tastes like dessert and you can make it like this (like ice cream) but I really like making it and taking it on the go.  It’s full of vitamins, minerals, superfoods, antioxidants, pre and pro biotics and I won’t bore you with everything but much more!

Most of our diets do not contain enough fresh fruits and vegetables to keep us in the health we should be in.  We reach for what is easy- packaged and fast food- both of which have been over processed and their nutrients destroyed.  This causes us to have decreased energy because we are running on empty.  Our bodies need fuel.  Good fuel.  This is why Shakeology is such an important part of my daily diet.  It helps me with cravings and staying on track with my clean eating!
