Healthy Chocolate Protein Bars

These healthy chocolate protein bars are one of my favorite bars to make and take with me to work during the week.  They are super easy to whip up and only have 4 ingredients! I always stay really full after eating them.

Clean, store-bought brands can be hard to find. Most are loaded with artificial ingredients and sugar.  Have you ever found, even if a bar is loaded with protein, you find you are hungry shortly after? I know I have and that’s usually because of the ingredients in the bar.

So these keep you full and your nutrition clean!  These are loaded with protein and low on sugar.  They should be stored in the refrigerator but keep well if they need to be left out for a couple of hours.

The recipe below is for 8 bars.

Ingredients

4 scoops chocolate protein (I use shakeology)
2 cups old fashioned oats
1/2 cup natural peanut butter
3/4 cup unsweetened almond milk

Directions

  1. Place protein powder and oats in a food processor and blend for 30 seconds.
  2. Add peanut butter and almond milk and blend for 30 more seconds or until smooth mixture forms.
  3. Spread mixture in 8×8 pan and place in the fridge for 2 hours.
  4. Cut into eight equal bars and enjoy!
