Greek Yogurt- So you’ve heard of it and know it’s the new health craze but WHY you may ask??  A bowl of Greek Yogurt is packed full of nutrients and can help you feel fuller longer!  It’s packed with protein and is a great way to increase your protein intake (especially for vegetarians like me!)  while still avoiding heavy meats.  It’s packed with probiotics, potassium, iodine, and calcium!  It’s also a great post workout food since it’s  packed with amino acids (which make up proteins) and proteins regenerate muscle tissue and repair fiber damage!

But I CAN’T STAND the taste of plain Greek yogurt unless I am using it like sour cream.  So I always look for healthy items I can add to it!  I tried out a new one today!  I call it coconut pineapple Greek yogurt!! It’s the perfect sweet
summer treat!

For the 21 Day Fix this is 1 red, 1/4 purple, and 1 tsp.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup nonfat Greek yogurt
1 tsp melted coconut oil
1 scoop pure stevia leaf extract
1/4 cup chopped pineapple (or more if you like!)

Directions:
1.  Mix the Greek Yogurt, coconut oil, and stevia leaf extract together.
2.  Top with pineapple and any other extras (nuts, seeds, more fruit!)

For the 21 Day Fix This is 1 red, 1/4 purple, and 1 tsp!
